LIFE @ MSIT PART - 7 .... THE SPECIALIZATION

Some thing is wrong with me today....I M feeling like writing writing writing....Got to go to a Doctor....I am never this hardworking........Heheheheheheheh

If u closely observe my posts in LIFE @ MSIT.........I m following a sequence here ......

First the Prelude, Prep, Main Course then my Seniors, my batch mates and then my about my Juniors..............The next post is obviously going to be about my Second year........

My Second year can always be divided into SEF and the REST.....Heheheheheh Not that SEF was bad...It was an interesting experience.....Didn't Hate it But didn't Like it either...............

The worst thing was to go to IIIT but to present before Carter sir Wonderful Experience.....

A few words about him......He is not like any other Professor u know...Totally Down to Earth and Damn Cool for his talent and knowledge of the subject........It was a value adding experience.............Have to thank MSIT for this.........Otherwise never would have had the chance to have a talk to him or present to him on his subject............

But Before we move on....lemme give u a brief idea about the Specialization scenario in MSIT for our batch........................

There were 4 Specializations......e-Commerce, Computer Networks, Software Engineering & LT.............When everybody was thinking about which specializing to join i decided long before to join CN.......From my childhood i was obsessed with computers and the internet...the way it works the background etc etc......So there was only one specialization for me obviously..............CN.....

But i knew nothing about it.........So with the start of the coursework i started learning new things about how the internet works, the various mechanisms which were present and a lot of other interesting things............

The Reading Assignments were too good they were all papers written by great people in this field of work like Cerf & Kahn's paper .............

The various mini's which we had we were from Basic Network Programming to Advanced Network programming, Network Security and Wireless Networks..............

I totally liked the Network Security and Wireless Networks because they were very interesting and the current trend of the market like the Wi-Fi how it works and all that stuff..............Rishab Sir helped us a lot in this course...........

But overall the learning experience if i can rate on a scale of 10 it would 10 without doubt because i learned a lot about a lot of stuff.... I was never good at this but i learnt a lot......

The Credit should all go to Manjunath Sir the best mentor in all of MSIT......He doesn't push u to submit deliverables he thinks from the student perspective and asks whether if u have learnt something or not....... That is one of the reasons why i had the time to learn a lot........

Also Jeevan sir for teaching us some concepts on OS which helped us while placements........ By the time the course completed and practicum started by december... Telangana issue started we had almost 20 day holidays............the first time in MSIT history to give such a long break ......

Then in the practicum........i didn't opt for any Internship fearing that it might trouble my placement preparation...........

A group of 8 people took up the ambitious project of Wireless Access point but as bad luck would have it when we were about 30 % completed the system crashed and we had to start from the first.......As if this was not enough 2 of our best minds left for internships......

We were stranded in the middle of the sea without even life support but we had to work hard to sail to the shore..........

Then came the memorable month of Avril............We gave the freshers finally to our juniors...........Come on the fact that we were 28 and they were more than 82
see .... 28-82 Heheheheh But we managed though..........

Of all the 4 parties which i attended in MSIT 2 Freshers & 2 Farewells......

Freshers which our seniors gave us was the first.......
Closely Followed by the Freshers which we gave...........
Farewell which we gave 2 our seniors and finally the
Farewell which we received....Sorry Guyz......On the level which i enjoyed.......

Then came the turning point or my life's turning point April 22nd.....The day I got placed in IBM.....Dream Company.... yes............. I was ecstatic and happy not for myself but for my parents who had the confidence that someday i will make it big.................... And as they say the rest is history.............

I used all the happiness and joy which i got into making our Annual fest SPREE...(I really did feel the glee....Hehehehe....... )a big big big hit....................

Truly Memorable Days in my MSIT Life.............!!!!!

When it came to the course work we did something with our project which made sense and completed it...........................

My LIFE @ MSIT truly was memorable and good, no better than good it was GREAT......but as great things always come to an end my LIFE @ MSIT also ended in the month of June........

I might miss the days which i spent in MSIT but i will never forget the experiences which i had for they will always be stored in my hearts vault...........

I always believe that Life is all about changes....now my new life is all about LIFE @ IBM......Heheheheheh

So if u think this is the end for my Life @ MSIT u r wrong coz "Picture abhi baki hai mere dost"

The last post about my LIFE @ MSIT PART -8 .......THE GRAND FINALE..............

LIFE @ MSIT PART - 6 ....JUNIORS--A Refreshing Change.

Welcome to another post on my Life @ MSIT....I have posted about both my seniors and my batch but this post is totally dedicated to my Juniors....The batch of 2009..

They are an interesting lot of students, each and every one of them is totally different....U can't guess..what they are going to do next.......They are an 80+ strong batch so imagine how much talent they have.......

They are a jolly bunch and merry making lot.....Our batch guyz struggled and worked hard to get in but these guyz enjoyed even during the prep.....This attitude is both good and bad....... I had the good opportunity of observing them right from the word go PREP i.e.as i was one of their Soft Skills TA's,Some of them are too good for their own good....Others are multi talented...............So i think i know most of their Strengths and Weaknesses.......

Suddenly after the PREP another 20 odd people also joined in JNTU who initially cleared the PREP in AU......One thing about these guyz.....too good both talent wise and discipline wise............Really Good at what they do and total hard workers.........keep it up guyz.....

In my view my junior batch is lucky because of their numbers as everyone of them is different they can use each others capabilities to get what they want.

One more thing is the number of girls in their batch.....It's almost our batch boys strength....hehehehehehehhehehe So before they start to think i totally forgot about them......

All of them are Cute, Studious and Very Reserved.........Gr8 Going Girls...........Keep it up.....But i didn't have the opportunity to interact with them on the same comfort level as that i have with the boys.....In the future will definitely try to........hehehehehe I usually never leave any chance.........

So what all i thought about them they made it a reality in the Spree-10...........
Everyone helped me a lot in organizing the event and making it a big success........They showed that they were totally dedicated in winning in almost all the events they participated.............

With this post i would like to thank all my juniors for their dedication towards the event.......especially these guyz...Kiran, Anvesh, Seshu, Prasanna, Swamy, Rakesh to name a few to take care of all the outside works...............Abhinay & Bhargavi for taking care of all the dance events and not to forget Sowmya for doing a good job at hosting the event and to all the coordinators for all the events and also to each and everybody whom i missed above for their participation and efforts to make it a grand success..........................

My Advice for u
Keep up the good work and step it up...... coz the next year its the 10 years celebrations and u lot have to work even harder.................

Utilize each others strong points and make it a grand success......

A few things which i want to repeat to u guyz again are Have Discipline in ur life and work hard to get placed and all of u should get placed and continue the near 100% record of MSIT placements.

Always Rememeber the below points
Have Some Respect towards Time....Time is Money.......

Remember Leadership is not an asset which u show in a Resume....It is a responsibility in itself showing that u truly care for others........And If u start something stick with it till the very end.....Good or Bad..........

That's my advice to u all whether u like it or not................

Enough of the Serious Talk i was never good at giving a serious talk coz i tend to laugh ...............

Thank u Guyz for making the last couple of months of MSIT so wonderful.......Giving us a grand farewell by making JNTU proud.........If I could have one wish fulfilled that would be to be a classmate to u all not a senior.........I Really do wish that..........

Keep Smiling.....Njoy Life as there might be no other................

So with that i think i can complete my post on a high..........

So the Life @ MSIT series is almost at its end but the next post is the one where i will share my best times where i learned a lot, did a lot.............MSIT 2nd year.........

Actors that I Like

So I am Back again with another post on movies.....Cant live with it Cant live without it..........

So this time around i am going to share my views about the actors that i like..........

One Person who always comes to my mind as the very best or the best of the best.........Leonardo Di Caprio......His movies......Titanic, Whats Eating Gilbert Grape(The best), Catch me if u Can, Departed, Beach, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island, Aviator and the recent Inception...

He is a directors actor...If u have already watched his movies u recognize with the characters not with him....That's the actors prowess at it's best.............

I think there is no other who can pass him but there is one more person who can try to compete with him and he is none other than the best pirate JACK Sparrow or Johnny Depp......

His movies range from.....Edward Scissor Hands,Chocolat, Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, Pirates of the Carribean- 4 parts(4th part filming),Finding Never Land are some of the movies which i have watched and loved them................

After the above great actors one actor who stands tall is Neo alias Constantine alias Klaatu .......Keanu Reeves.........My first English Movie in Theatre SPEED.....Sangeeth...Secunderabad...... Phew What a movie.......

His Movies which i watched are ----------- Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, My Own Private Idaho, Speed,Johnny Mnemonic, Matrix(World Famous), Constantine, The Devil's Advocate, The Day the Earth Stood Still......Waiting for more from this gr8 actor....

Apart from the above three there also many actors whom i like like Jim Carrey, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg(Awesome Actor), Hugh Jackman etc etc......

That's the thing i like about Hollywood there are no big or small actors only great roles.....All are Directors Actors not the other way around which is the case with our local-----Wood's...............

But there are some Director's Actors even in our local Wood's only a handful though like Abhay Deol, Rahul Bose, Raja, Siddharth and the best of the lot Actor Director---Aamir Khan... Very talented Very Versatile.........Hats off to the Perfectionist.......

Not to forget legendary actor Kamal Hassan........ Too good.....Different in every film he does.....Too good

Enough about the Men lets talk about the femmefatale first from Hollywood.......lady with the top honors would be Meryl Streep followed by Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts(Awesome), Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore(Gr8 Actor), Kate Winslet( gr8 in every role) and the newest girl on the block Amanda Seyfried(Cute+ Gr8 Eyes) & Emmy Rossum......

They compete with male actors in any movie and sometimes even over shadow the lead actor like in Titanic.....Winslet Rocks......

In our local Wood's there is not much acting talent in the present lot.......But the yester years actors like Sridevi, Madhubala, Nargis, our very own Savithri, Suryakantham.......Yes u read the name rite.....Everybody loved to hate her........ to name a few.......... They didnt act they lived their roles and they sometimes acted with only their body movements and facial expressions.

If u ask me just watch Gundamma Katha....for Savithri...for the very best of Savithri........Overshadowed the 2 gr8 NTR & ANR..........Old Movies Post in the coming days........

So my final worlds

Kudos to all the great actors from all over the world......who made and are still creating some sense in watching films a pleasant experience............

Movies-----My Second Love

MOVIES:::MASTI:::MAGIC

Everyone in their life would have definitely fell in love one particular movie at one time or other........

In my memory the first movie i remember is the Hindi Super Hit........Khuda Gawah...way back in 1992......My age.....6 years Amitabh was good, Sridevi was too good...

Then came the memorable Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayengey........Simran & Raj.....Too good......Durr, Bazigar gr8 movies to name a few.........

I guess i grew up watching Hindi Movies more than Telugu one's.........

After that i simply fell in love with movies.............Not all though Some left me sore........As i grew my love for movies also grew rapidly.......Earlier i was restricted to only Hindi, Telugu, English but with globalization i am able to watch Japanese, Korean, French movies as well......

One thing was clear there is Mass Copying not only in Studies but also in movies as well.........hehehehehehehhe

Its true.....Almost 50% of the stories are repeated......Sad fact....But the truth.....

But there are some Maverick Directors who have the vision and the guts to do out of the box projects..............

My Favorites------Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino,Hitchcock,Akira Kurosawa, Stephen Spielberg,James Cameron etc etc............(Foreign)

Our very own......Gautam Menon,Chandrasekhar Yelati,Anurag Kashyap,Chandra Siddharta, Deva Katta in some ways Surendar Reddy......all are good directors......

Industry is changing for the better in some ways......Slowly people are going less and less for the hero's and more and more for the Directors...........

But The very best of the best for me would be Vittala Charya with all the Cool Magic Effects he used in the 1960's & 1970's itself..... Hat's off to him......

More to come in the coming posts......All dedicated to Movies.................

Best Weather For Everything ----Monsoon

Before i start with the present topic, one thing about me......... my mind is always in a state of restlessness....It always wants to do something or the other...for it even sleeping is a work....So it equally divides the time among all my works..................Hehehehe Wish I could Control it.....

Fact:- Human's can only use only 10% of their brains.........

So everyone is lazy.....even the best mind's at work or the most intelligent person is still wasting 90% of his brain...So why bother.......Mendokusai!!!!!!!!!!!!

I M no were near the above stated example......Simple thing.....I envy the clouds........ They get to travel places... and are not troubled or bogged down.......

My Simple Funda.....Be Simple....Be at peace with ur Mind and Follow ur heart..........

As u grow old....Life Really is mendokusai................

So enough of that for now..........

The best season without argument is the Monsoon....Coz of many reasons.......

Children....To skip the School...
Teenagers......To get wet in the Rain and njoy the surroundings....hehehehe
Adults.....Best Reason to cover that ur late for work........

For me it is everything.....I enjoy the nature and in the monsoon the nature is at it's best showcasing its beauty in all its glory.........

Coz if u consider Summer ....land is barren....parched of water.... trees look dry it all gives a depressing kind of look..........Not to forget the Scorching heat....

If u consider Winter......land is frozen.....everything seems still..... we need a change in life and the colors of winter are too dull......

But Monsoon.......Change Change....U get to see all kinds of Colors especially various shades of green and my favorite colors Black & Grey are everywhere painted in 70MM all over the sky.........I m Selfish here.......Hehehehehe

Being a Hyderabadi ladka........in the monsoon always ROCKS.....

Irani Chai, Pani Puri, Butta, Drive on the Necklace Road, Eat Street, Ice cream......etc etc etc everything tastes better in this weather....

But u also get bogged down with Cold......That's a Side Effect u have to adjust with......

My Idea of a Perfect Evening in the Monsoon..... Two ideas actually contrasting one's

Get WET go out and roam around in the city....and have some Irani Chai...Too Good.......

Go to ur village in the Monsoon....Sit in ur verandah and watch the sky's pour down......and the smell of earth with the first rains..........tooo good........
Simply Divine........

Too bad we cant have enough of this in the city as well..........

If u have any nice views about monsoon do share them..................................

Chain Reaction----How Did the Bureaucracy all start ???

My View Here about how the Bureaucracy all started......Here goes

I think it all started with the Industrial Civilization.....U ask y????

One reason.........Lets go back to the past where people used to sell whatever they produced or harvested or whatever they were good at....It was a kinda like exchange of service........Everything was going on well.....people everywhere were happy under a good leader's rule.......There was no bribes nothing.......

With the advent of Industrial Civilization slowly people's mindset began to change.......Instead of thinking of their work as service where everyone was happy they started to view the work as a profession.........Nothing bad with that but with division comes trouble that what soon started out...Some professions where looked upon as good professions where u can lead a happy life for minimum work....

Then slowly things started to change for the worst..... With Democracy it became clear that Bureaucracy was here to stay...Slowly people who were in good positions started to take advantage of the power they had over others...Forgetting one simple rule.....Spiderman's Rule.....With Gr8 Power Comes Gr8 Responsibilities Procrastinating things, Pushing the work on other lesser workers who already had work to do.............

It's a common thing that our minds have evolved so no wonder it recognizes when people who were supposed to do something aren't doing it.....Then the consequences are mistrust, anger, jealous etc etc. They require no medium to spread and slowly they become interested in their work....The End result....As Master Yoda rightly states.....

With Jealous Comes Pain
With Pain Comes Anger
With Anger Comes Suffering.........

So the ultimate loser is the Common man.....with no power and always full of responsibilities........

So the new question Can this End???????

My answer is YES, WHY NOT ??? The only thing required is that people should feel empathy....Think about others and think about from what position they started out....in one Word Retrospection

I believe in the human race and the mankind's kindness....Take a look at all Natural Disasters....the recent Haitian incident or the Mumbai's Floods. Did the government reach out to people NO....it was the people who helped each other out.....That's kindness for u........

Out of Chaos comes ORDER !!!!!!!!!!!!

My request to all the people who had the patience to read my post.....please try to remove the bureaucracy in what ever way u can..........Please Please Break the Chain......Save Mankind..............
